I keep a cat calendar on my desk at work. A few weeks ago there was a cat that looked very similar to Cassis. It was a Burmese. I started reading about Burmese and found that Cassis has many if not all of the personality characteristics. For anyone who has met him, you know that he is extremely social (unlike the other two). He is also very vocal and loves to play “fetch” with toys. He sometimes brings the toy back to you around 20 times!

Cassis and Zoe relaxing

Cassis was excited to see that a small bag of catnip was included in the latest toy. We already have a big jar of catnip so we threw the little bag away. Cassis apparently found it in the trash and placed it on the couch. Here are some picks of the mess he made as well as the cleanup.

Cassis has been with us for a few months now and he is growing rapidly! He weighs more than Zoe now. They all seem to be getting along well.

I heard a “thump” and went into the bathroom to see what happened. I found Hogan sitting pretty in the bathtub.
